DM-CB10 M8 4-Pin Field-Attachable Connector

Overview

The DM-CB10 lets a maintenance technician build or repair a sensor cable on site with a screwdriver and no special tooling. The housing unscrews, the conductors go into screw terminals, and the seal insert grips the cable jacket as the body is reassembled.

It is a repair part, not a production part. For machines leaving the factory, an overmoulded cordset is more consistent because the seal is formed under controlled conditions. For a cable damaged at 2 a.m. on a running line, the field-attachable connector is what gets the machine back.

Assembly note

Strip 20 mm of jacket and 4 mm of insulation, keep the strand twist intact, and tighten each terminal firmly without cutting strands. Check continuity pin to pin and confirm the seal insert matches the cable diameter before the connector goes into service.
