DM-MR10 Miniature Rotary Actuator, 10 N·m
Lead time: 7-10 days
Compact rotary actuator with 10 N·m torque, 0.05° repeatability and RS485 control, for valve, shutter and indexing duties where a gearbox would be too large.

Overview
The DM-MR10 provides controlled rotation in a package small enough to mount directly on a valve stem or a shutter shaft. A brushless motor drives through a low-backlash planetary stage, and an absolute encoder reports position over RS485 without a homing cycle at power-up.
The absolute encoder is the practical difference in valve and damper applications: after a power loss the actuator knows where it is and moves to the commanded position without driving the mechanism against a stop. Torque is limited electronically, so a jammed valve stalls the actuator instead of damaging it.
Key features
- 10 N·m continuous torque, 25 N·m peak
- 0.05° repeatability with absolute encoder feedback
- RS485 Modbus control, optional 0-10 V or 4-20 mA
- Electronic torque limiting and stall detection
- Manual override hex on the output shaft
- IP65 housing, -10 to +60 °C operating range
Typical applications
- Quarter-turn valve and damper actuation
- Optical shutter and filter wheel indexing
- Rotary indexing tables in assembly machines
- Adjustable orifice and louvre control
Sizing note
Size on the running torque plus a 50% margin for breakaway and fouling, not on the nameplate torque alone. A valve that has not moved for six months needs more torque to break away than the datasheet friction figure suggests.
