Overview
The DM-PD100 measures the difference between two pressure ports rather than a single line pressure, which is what filter monitoring, room pressure cascades and orifice-plate flow measurement actually require. The two-port capsule is machined from a single stainless block, so thermal gradients across the body do not create the offset that plagues assembled differential sensors.
Accuracy is 0.075% of span, and the static line pressure rating of 160 bar means the transmitter can sit on a high-pressure filter housing while still resolving a 2 kPa pressure drop. The 4-20 mA output is loop-powered, and the zero and span are adjustable from the front panel without opening the housing.
Key features
- 0-10 kPa differential range with 160 bar static line pressure
- 0.075% FS accuracy including thermal effect over the compensated range
- Single-block stainless capsule, no internal elastomer seals
- Front-accessible zero and span adjustment
- Two 1/4 NPT or G1/4 process ports with bleed valves
- Optional three-valve manifold for in-service zeroing
Typical applications
- Filter and strainer differential pressure monitoring
- Cleanroom and corridor pressure cascade control
- Orifice plate and Venturi flow measurement
- Tank level by hydrostatic differential measurement
Installation note
Mount the transmitter below the tap points for liquid service and above them for gas, with equal-length impulse lines sloping continuously to the process. Unequal line length or a trapped condensate slug shifts the zero, and no amount of configuration will remove it.
