DM-PT2150 Stainless Steel Pressure Transmitter, 0-400 bar

Overview

The DM-PT2150 is a two-wire gauge pressure transmitter built for continuous service on hydraulic power units, process piping and water networks. The sensing element is a piezoresistive silicon capsule isolated by a 316L stainless steel diaphragm, so the electronics never touch the media and the wetted path has no elastomer seal in the pressure boundary.

The 4-20 mA output is standard, with HART 7 available on the same terminals for remote range and damping configuration. A laser-welded stainless housing with an M12 connector gives IP68 protection without relying on a cable gland, which is the most common water entry point on pressure instruments in washdown or outdoor service.

Why this model

Most 400 bar transmitters in this price bracket use a ceramic or thin-film element with a sealing O-ring in the pressure path. The PT2150 uses a welded stainless diaphragm and a metal-to-metal process seal, so it holds calibration in thermal cycling and does not develop a leak path after a few thousand pressure cycles.
